During our recent family vacation at Longbourne, we discovered a charming retreat amidst the beautiful hills of Mosgiel, just a short drive from Dunedin. The two-bedroom cottage we stayed in was spacious, clean, and perfect for our group, making it an excellent family-friendly base. One of our favorite experiences was visiting Wal's Funland, just a stone's throw away. The 18-hole mini-golf course provided endless entertainment for the children, while the Springfree trampoline was a hit with the whole family. It was a joy to watch the kids bounce around, while we enjoyed coffee at the Topiary Café. Although we had planned for a busy day, unexpected rain led us back to the cottage, where our family gathered around indoor games and coloring books provided by the property, perfectly accommodating a cozy day in. Longbourne offered a welcoming atmosphere with plenty of activities for families of all ages.
